In a few weeks time I’m off to work for Shelter which is all jolly exciting. I think it’s a very interesting and rather challenging time for Shelter at the moment. Whilst Shelter provides advice to a huge number of people each year through their Community Legal Services contracts some critics have pointed out that this may have led to a Shelter that is now less critical of government policies.
Congrats -I know some very good Shelter people, very good indeed, even if as an organisation it seems to being having a bit of a torrid moment. You can do good work there, I’m absolutely sure.
